A third confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported in Brock Township.

That information was included in an update from the Durham Region Health Department Monday (May 4) afternoon.

Overall, there have been 1,075 confirmed cases in Durham – 414 in Pickering, 276 in Ajax, 177 in Oshawa, 103 in Whitby, 65 in Clarington, 28 in Uxbridge, nine in Scugog and the three in Brock Township.

A total of 354 residents are in home isolation, with 41 currently hospitalized.

A total of 128 deaths – including 110 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.

A total of 552 cases have been resolved, which represents 51 per cent of the total.
