Durham Region is advising motorists of upcoming lane restrictions on Reach Street in Scugog.

The installation of a culvert near Byron Street is slated to occur rom May 4 to 8, though unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

“Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews,” reads a notice from the Region.

“Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces from April 3.”
