There are 899 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Durham Region as of Monday (April 27).

There have been 341 cases in Pickering, 243 in Ajax, 146 in Oshawa, 90 in Whitby, 54 in Clarington, 17 in Uxbridge, six in Scugog and two in Brock Township.

A total of 379 residents are in home isolation, with 35 currently hospitalized.

Ninety-three deaths – including 77 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.

A total of 392 cases have been resolved.
