There are now two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brock Township.
While few details are available, that figure was included in an update from Durham Region Saturday (April 25).
Both of the local patients are in isolation.
Overall, there are 836 confirmed cases in Durham – up from 810 a day previous.
There have been 312 cases in Pickering, 231 in Ajax, 140 in Oshawa, 80 in Whitby, 51 in Clarington, 15 in Uxbridge, five in Scugog and the two cases in Brock.
A total of 391 residents are currently in home isolation, with 32 currently hospitalized.
Eighty-three deaths – including 68 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.
A total of 330 cases have been resolved.
