Brock Township has its first confirmed case of COVID-19.
While few details are available, the result was included in an update from Durham Region Thursday (April 23) afternoon.
Overall, there are 781 confirmed cases in Durham – up from 757 a day previous.
There have been 290 cases in Pickering, 214 in Ajax, 132 in Oshawa, 76 in Whitby, 47 in Clarington, 14 in Uxbridge, five in Scugog and the lone case in Brock.
A total of 379 residents are currently in home isolation, with 29 currently hospitalized.
Seventy-six deaths – including 63 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.
A total of 297 cases have been resolved.
