
Two Toronto residents are facing charges after officers allegedly seized $1.25 million worth of cash and drugs following a three-month investigation.
According to the DRPS, the probe concluded in March and resulted in three search warrants being executed in Toronto — two at residences and one at a financial institution.
“Two suspects were arrested and face numerous drug and firearm-related offences. As a result of the investigation, officers seized a loaded semi-automatic handgun, over $1 million in cash, and over $250,000 in drugs (fentanyl and cocaine),” reads a media release.
Alexander Koralov, 28, of Bloor Street in Toronto has been charged with 13 criminal offences, including: possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine and fentanyl), possession of property obtained by crime and a number of firearms offences. He was held for a bail hearing.
Sobhian McMahon, 38, of Bloor Street in Toronto has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl) and possession of property obtained by crime. She was released on an undertaking.
