There are now 442 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Durham Region.

The update from the Durham Region Health Department Tuesday (April 14) afternoon saw the total jump from 368.

There have been 119 cases in Ajax, 113 in Pickering, 104 in Oshawa, 54 in Whitby, 38 in Clarington, 10 in Uxbridge and four in Scugog. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brock Township at this time.

A total of 237 residents are currently in home isolation, with 29 currently hospitalized.

Thirty deaths – including 21 at long-term care and retirement homes – have been attributed to COVID-19.

A total of 146 cases have been resolved.
