The Township of Brock is looking to bring the community together to face the challenges of COVID-19.

The municipality has launched a social media campaign encouraging residents to share positive messages on social media.

“We are asking all residents to join us in this campaign and show kindness, love, and positivity for your community while maintaining a safe physical distance,” reads a press release.

“We have seen residents post positive messages in their windows, leave beautifully painted rocks around the community, and help make headbands for nurses. We want to hear and share all these amazing stories.”

Those wishing to take part are invited to share their posts on social media, tagging Brock Township on Facebook (@brocktownship), Twitter (@townshipofbrock) and Instagram (@townshipofbrock) and adding the hashtags #BeKind and #DurhamStrong.

“We are a strong community and together we will get through this,” the press release reads.
