Georgina man suffers life-threatening injuries following collision involving pick-up truck

A 35-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision involving a pedestrian and a pick-up truck in Georgina early Tuesday (March 24) morning.

According to police, officers were called to the area of Metro Road and Craigmawr Boulevard around 5:20 a.m.

“The pedestrian, a 35-year-old man from Georgina, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck remained at the scene and was not injured,” reads a media release.

“The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police or who may have dashcam footage of the incident is asked to come forward.”
