Emergency personnel responded to a fire at a sugar shack in Georgina Tuesday (March 10) morning.

According to a social media post, police and firefighters were called to a property on Park Road, north of Ravenshoe, shortly after 4 a.m.

“Discovered a maple syrup operation on fire with propane tanks exploding. No injuries,” the post reads.

Police do not believe the fire is suspicious.
