York Regional Police officers recently conducted a two-day RIDE blitz on the shores of Lake Simcoe.

According to a social media post, more than 100 and snowmobiles were stopped through the initiative.

“Approximately 30 percent of drivers had consumed alcohol,” the post reads.

“Any amount of alcohol can reduce your driving abilities and reaction time. Don’t drink and drive.”
