Police in Toronto issued an Amber Alert following the apparent abduction of a 14-year-old boy Wednesday (March 4) morning.

According to police, Shammah Jolayemi was last seen around 8:30 a.m. in the area of Driftwood Avenue in North York.

Police are “extremely concerned” for his safety.

He is described as 5’11” to 6′ feet in height, with a slim build and short dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey hoody, grey trackpants with thin orange stripe, a shiny black coat and black and yellow Air Jordan shoes.

Police believe he was abducted by two black males wearing black jackets and bandanas on their heads.

“A vehicle of interest was seen in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area around the same time the boy was last seen,” a media release reads.

“The vehicle is described as dark coloured, possibly a black Jeep Wrangler with oversized tires, a front-mounted brush bar and round fog lights.”

Officers are looking to speak with abducted boy’s step brother, Olalekan Osikoya, and encourage him to call police.
