Lindsay woman charged with impaired driving following collision

A woman has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision on Queen Street in Lindsay over the weekend.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, emergency personnel responded to the collision shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 22).

“The investigating officer determined that the driver of the vehicle was impaired, and placed her under arrest.

Sarah Simard-Duncan, 28, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 0.08.

She is slated to appear in Lindsay court on March 26.
