The junior girls volleyball team at Brock High School has captured the Kawartha championship.

Brock edged out Port Hope in the semifinals in four games (25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16) before sweeping Campbellford in the final (25-18, 25-17, 25-16) during play at Kenner Collegiate in Peterborough.

The Bulldogs will advance to the COSSA championships next week in Belleville.

Team members include Megan Ransberry, Erika Bagshaw, Heidi Bagshaw, Lexi Bagshaw, Amber Van Wel, Vanessa Guy, Autumn Cutruzzola, Emma Lazzarino, Mia Harwood, Hannah Barkey, Sarah Ross.
