The U10 squad from Stingerz Ringette made an undefeated run to claim a tournament championship in Newmarket over the weekend.

Sunderland opened the tournament with an 8-1 win over Barrie before dispatching both Goderich and Sault Ste. Marie by identical 9-2 scores.

The result in the finals, a rematch against Sault Ste. Marie, was much the same with the Stingerz emerging with an 8-2 win to capture the title.

Team members include Peyton Barnett, Delaney O’Grady, Kyla Keeler, Dakota Norris, Mona Keshmirshekan, Ava Keshmirshekan, Kelby Parliament, Violet Munro, MacKenzie Vestby-Hayward, Harlow Martin, Isla Franco, Mackailyn Heggie and Charlee Gregson.

The coaching staff is comprised of Krystin O’Grady, Micki Barnett and Amy Mollon.
