The application, which has been deemed as complete, has been submitted by The Biglieri Group Ltd. on behalf of First Beaverton Inc. and Second Beaverton Inc. (File: 9-2019-PL/SB/RA). A concurrent plan of subdivision application has been submitted to the Regional Municipality of Durham (S-B-2019-01).

LOCATION OF SUBJECT LAND
THE SUBJECT LAND, consisting of approximately 3.45 hectares or 8.5 acres, is located on the south side of Main Street, west of the Canadian National Railway. The property is within part of Lot 15, Concession 5 (Thorah). The location is shown on the KEY MAP.

PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT
THE AMENDMENT, upon approval, serves to rezone the subject land from the Development (D) Zone category to a Residential Type No. 1 Exception (R1 – Exception) and Residential Type No. 3 Exception (R3 – Exception) and Open Space Exception (OS-X). This will permit the development of 27 single-detached dwelling units, 25 townhouse dwelling units and a stormwater management facility.

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to this proposed amendment. If you are unable to attend the meeting, written submissions will be received by the undersigned and should also include a request for further notification, if so desired.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Brock before the by-law is enacted (if approved), the person or public body is NOT entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of Brock to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.

Further, the person or public body may NOT be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
