A traffic complaint had led to impaired driving charges for a Kawartha Lakes man.
According to the OPP, officers received information related to a vehicle being operated by a suspected impaired driver shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday (Jan. 20).
“The vehicle was located on Peace Road and the ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver,” reads a media release.
Jeff Burke, 41, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
“The driver was also issued a 90-day licence suspension and the vehicle has been impounded for a seven-day period,” the media release reads.
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Feb. 20.
