Four people were taken to hospital – including two that sustained serious injuries – following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 36 in Kawartha Lakes Sunday (Jan. 19).
According to police, investigation revealed that a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle travelling north.
“The two occupants of the southbound vehicle were taken to Ross Memorial Hospital, and then transported to a Toronto area hospital with serious injuries,” a media release reads.
“The two occupants of the northbound vehicle were both taken to Ross Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.”
The circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.
