A senior has suffered minor injuries after her vehicle slammed into a pair of businesses in Cannington Friday (Jan. 10) afternoon.
While few details have been released, witnesses have told The Brock Voice that the woman’s vehicle jumped the curb while in reverse and hit the Scotiabank branch before it travelled across Cameron Street – narrowly missing a pedestrian – before hitting Holy Grounds Cafe.
Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrision noted that the driver suffered minor injuries.
He could not confirm that the vehicle hit the bank branch, though he said that the cafe suffered some damage to the front of the building on the east side.
