Durham Region launches surveys on improving broadband access

Durham Region wants to hear from residents and businesses on how to improve broadband access.

The Region has launched a pair of surveys – one for residential customers, home-based business and farms and another for businesses.

“The Region of Durham recognizes the importance of broadband access as a necessity for every household and business,” reads a public notice.

A formal strategy, dubbed Connecting our Communities, has been launched to bring the Region up to speed with some of the best-connected communities in the world.

Data collected from the surveys will provide valuable insights from local communities to determine the next steps forward in achieving this goal,” the public notice reads.

For more information on the survey, which is open until April 30, click HERE.

Copies are also available at municipal offices throughout Durham.
