No impaired driving charges for Brock residents during DRPS Festive RIDE campaign

Not a single Brock Township resident was charged with impaired driving during the recent DRPS Festive RIDE campaign.

According to police, officers conducted spotchecks in the township in six of the campaign’s seven weeks.

Overall, a total of 104 motorists were charged with impaired driving, a decrease from the 117 charged in 2018/19.

Another 89 motorists registered a WARN on a roadside screening device and had their driver’s licence suspended for three days. That’s also a decrease from last season, when 111 motorists received suspensions.
