A pedestrian has been injured after being hit by a vehicle in Georgina Friday (Dec. 27) evening.

While few details have been released, the York Regional Police noted that the incident occured in the area of Dalton Road and Woodriver Bend in Sutton.

The extent of the injuries sustained is not known at this time.

Motorists in the area should expect delays, police said.
