
A Bobcaygeon man was charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle accident in Lindsay Thursday (Dec. 12).
According to police, a vehicle travelling on Queen Street left the road and collided with a tree shortly after 4 p.m.
“A City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable attended the collision to investigate and determined the driver of the vehicle was impaired,” reads a media release.
Joshua Calvin Banhart, 28, was charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration above 0.08.
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Jan. 16.
