Police are investigating after a naked man was located in Oshawa suffering from multiple stab wounds Monday (Dec. 9) night.
According to police, officers responded to an “unknown trouble call” on the northwest corner of Simcoe Street and Bloor Street shortly after 10 p.m.
“A naked male was seen in the area with multiple injuries and he was screaming,” a media release from police reads.
“Officers arrived and located a 37-year-old Oshawa male. He was treated at the scene by Region of Durham Paramedic Services before being transported to an area hospital in stable condition.”
The man was later transferred to a Toronto trauma centre with multiple serious but non-life threatening injuries.
“The male has been uncooperative and the investigation into what caused the wounds is underway. A potential crime scene was located at a house on Lviv Boulevard in Oshawa,” the media release reads.
