This holiday season, township residents can pick out a gorgeous Christmas tree while supporting some great causes.
The Lions clubs in Beaverton and Cannington are once again selling trees.
The Beaverton Lions’ booth at Alexander Muir Park opened on Saturday (Nov. 30) with sales from noon to 6 p.m. through the week and extended hours of noon to 8 p.m. on Fridays.
All proceeds will support the Brock Community Food Bank and projects for seniors.
The Cannington Lions Club will also be selling trees this year from the parking lot of Foodland starting Sunday (Dec. 1).
Sales run from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
All proceeds will support community projects.
