Township firefighters battled a house fire early Saturday (Nov. 30) morning at Concession 2 Brock and Sideroad 18.

According to Fire Chief Rick Harrison, the blaze was reported at 1:36 a.m. and firefighters from all three halls responded.

The home was completely destroyed.

“It appears to be an abandoned house,” Chief Harrison said.

The circumstances of the fire are under investigation.
