Man charged after reports of suspect going through vehicles

A Lindsay man is charged with numerous offences after police were called about a suspicious male.

Kawartha Lakes Police received the call at 11:10 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 14) about a man believed to have been going through vehicles in the area of Angeline Street North in Lindsay.

Upon arrival, police identified the male as an individual wanted for similar offences and arrested him. He was held for a bail hearing.

Raymond Smoke is charged with three counts of use of stolen credit card, possession of stolen property and five counts of breach of probation.

Kawartha Lakes Police remind residents to always lock their vehicles and not to leave anything of value in vehicles such as a wallet, credit cards or electronics.
