Santa Claus is set to visit Beaverton Friday (Nov. 15) night.
Organized by the Beaverton Lions Club, the village’s annual Santa Claus parade gets underway at 7 p.m. from the Beaverton Curling Club.
Many downtown merchants be hosting open houses throughout the evening and the Beaverton Lions Club will be firing up the holiday lights at Alexander Muir Park as the parade goes by.
And, as always, Santa will be stopping by the fire hall after the parade to meet with children, who will also receive some holiday treats from firefighters and a hot chocolate from Lions members.
Those taking part in the parade should arrive at the curling club no later than 6:30 p.m.
