With much of Ontario seeing its first significant snowfall of the season, more than 400 accidents have been called into the OPP in the last 24 hours.
According to a social media video posted by Sergeant Kerry Schmidt around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 12), officers were currently at the scene of more than two dozen collisions.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution and drive according to the conditions.
“The roads are obviously slippery. We need to give ourselves a little more space, drive a little slower,” Sgt Schmidt said.
