Winter clothing program warming tootsies across Brock

With winter just around the corner, the Warm Tootsies campaign has fired back up in Brock this week.

Now in its fifth year, the campaign aims to collect an array of winter clothing for local children.

Donations were collected starting in September, with distribution dates held in Sunderland on Monday (Nov. 4) and the Nourish Community Hub in Cannington on Tuesday (Nov. 5).

The final date runs Wednesday (Nov. 6) at Beaverton Public School from 6 to 8 p.m.

“We’ve had a great response this year,” said organizer Carolina Munoz.

“I think this year we will get around 200 kids and we’ll be able to keep all the tootsies warm.”
