A fire at an abandoned school in Orillia Thursday (Oct. 24) night is being investigated as an arson.
According to the OPP, it’s believed that suspects gained entrance to the building on Westmount Drive at some point through the evening and ignited the blaze, which caused extensive damage.
Along with several units within the OPP, the Ontario Fire Marshall is also investigating.
“The Orillia OPP are seeking the assistance of the public in helping them locate and identify the parties involved,” reads a media release from police.
