Sausages and sauerkraut aren’t the only thing on the menu at an upcoming Oktoberfest fundraiser in support of the Brock Community Health Centre.
The event — which runs at the Beaverton Legion from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday (Oct. 26) — features live music from Adam Chow, Johnny Lewis and Chuck, Frankie ‘Squeeze Box’ and The Hornets.
Advance tickets cost $10 and are available at Davis Hardware on Simcoe Street in Beaverton.
Admission costs $15 at the door.
All proceeds will help support the CHC’s capital campaign, with the end goal of building of a 21,000-square-foot health care facility for the residents of Brock Township and surrounding areas.
“The new centre will accommodate organizational programs and services. It will also provide a community health hub for Durham’s northern communities, increasing access to allied health care services and community organizations,” reads a media release from the CHC.
