There’s still time to vote in federal election

There’s still time to a cast a ballot in the federal election.

Polls across Ontario will remain open until 9:30 p.m. tonight (Oct. 21).

The five candidates vying to serve as the next MP of Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock are incumbent Jamie Schmale (Conservative), Judi Forbes (Liberal), Barbara Doyle (NDP), Elizabeth Fraser (Green) and Gene Balfour (People’s Party of Canada).

Upwards of 60 people packed the auditorium of the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre for a debate hosted by The Brock Voice and the Brock Board of Trade on Oct. 3. Brock Township and The Nourish and Develop Foundation also served as partners for the event.
