Police investigating apparent assault in Lindsay

Police in Kawartha Lakes are asking witnesses to come forward following an apparent assault on James Street in Lindsay.

According to police, officers were called to a disturbance taking place between a group of people on James Street in Lindsay shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 19).

“When officers arrived, the disturbance had ended and the group dispersed.  Officers found one man unconscious, lying on the east side of James Street,” reads a media release from police.

“The man was taken to hospital by paramedics for a serious but non-life-threatening injury.”
