
Three more people have been arrested and charged in relation to a shooting in Lindsay last week.
Last Wednesday (Sept. 25), police were called to a disturbance at a property on William Street North in Lindsay.
“Officers located a man who had suffered a gun-shot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment,” reads a media release from police.
Two days later, Nathan Wallis of Whitby was charged with assault with a weapon, carrying a firearm in a careless manner, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and failing to comply with a recognizance.
Three others were arrested and charged on Monday (Sept. 30) following further investigation by police.
Sean Michael Fisher, 29, has been charged with disguise with intent to commit a criminal offense, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order.
Jake Dakota Breen, 26, has been charged with disguise with intent to commit a criminal offense, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order.
Clifford Leonard Bryant, 52, has been charged with disguise with intent to commit a criminal offense, break and enter and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The three additional men arrested were held in custody to attend bail hearings in Lindsay court.
