Police trying to locate missing man from Georgina

Police are looking for some help to track down a missing 53-year-old man from Georgina.

According to the York Regional Police, Charles Skopit was last seen on Monday, Sept. 16 at approximately 1 p.m. in the area of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue in the City of Toronto.

“At the time he was carrying a guitar. He has not returned to his residence, which is located on Lake Drive east in Georgina. He is known to frequent areas of the City of Toronto, the City of Hamilton and the City of Vaughan,” reads a media release from police.

“Investigators are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.”

Skopit is described as white, 6’ in height, with a weight of 200 pounds. He has black and grey hair, a short black and grey beard, brown eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a red windbreaker jacket, a white T-shirt and blue jeans and was carrying a guitar and a dark-coloured backpack.
