Missing Oshawa senior located in Orillia

A missing senior from Oshawa has been located in Orillia.

According to police, the 84-year-old left her residence near Conlin Road East and Ritson Road North in Oshawa to go grocery shopping at the Five Points Mall in Oshawa around 9:30 a.m. yesterday and did not return.

“It is believed that she may be lost and may be driving around trying to make her way home. She has no cell phone and she has not made contact with friends or family. There are concerns for her well being,” reads a media release issued late Monday (Sept. 30) night.

A follow-up post from police Tuesday morning noted that the woman was found.
