Motorists may want to avoid a section of Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in Uxbridge for a few days this week due to lane restrictions.
According to a public notice from Durham Region, there will be intermittent daytime lane restrictions from 1,700 metres north of Chalk Lake Road to 600 metres south of Chalk Lake Road.
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday (Sept. 30) at 8 a.m. and will run through Wednesday (Oct. 2) though unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
“The Region realizes that the work is disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews,” the notice reads.
