The Brock Voice and the Brock Board of Trade are teaming up to host an all-candidates’ meeting heading into the Oct. 21 federal election.
The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the auditorium of the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre in Cannington.
Doors will open a half-hour prior to give residents an opportunity informally chat with candidates over snacks and refreshments courtesy of The Nourish and Develop Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to enhance local food security and promote self-reliance through collaborative programs and partnerships that deliver lasting solutions and life-long learning.
The Township of Brock is also partnering in the event by providing free use of the facility.
Those looking to submit a question for consideration in the debate portion of the event can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Federal Debate’ as the subject line.
