Police hope the public can help identify suspects in a rash of vehicle-entry incidents now that an image of the suspect vehicle has been released.
According to Durham Regional Police, the thefts occurred overnight on July 30 and July 31 on Bell Street in Uxbridge. Numerous unlocked vehicles were reportedly entered by multiple suspects described as three males and one female.
One of the males is described as white, about five-feet, nine-inches tall wearing a camo-style colourful shirt and light-coloured shorts.
Police say stolen items include ladies’ shoes, jewelry and gift cards.
The vehicle believed to be involved in these incidents is described as a four-door Honda accord, possibly a 2005 model, according to police.
DRPS say in all cases, the doors to the vehicles targeted were unlocked. Police strongly encourage citizens to lock their vehicle doors at night and to remove all valuable items.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with new information is asked to contact Cst. Ratych of North Division at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 3818.
