It’s once again time for fall fair fun in Sunderland.
The 168th annual Sunderland Agricultural Fall Fair is set for Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 10 and 11) with a range of family-friendly activities planned.
The event opens to the public at 4 p.m. Tuesday, with the opening ceremonies – featuring Olympian and Pan Am Games medalist Jessica Phoenix – slated for 6 p.m.
Other activities lined up for opening night include air bounce adventure land, a lawn tractor pull, antique car show, vintage tractor show, horse pull and musical entertainment.
The gates open at 9 a.m. Wednesday with light and heavy horse shows, followed by the annual parade at 10:30 a.m.
Other attractions include a range of agricultural exhibitions and craft demonstrations, as well as musical entertainment.
A demolition derby at 7 p.m. will close out the day.
Admission for the Fair is as follows: Tuesday evening, $7, Wednesday, $10, two-day pass, $15. Elementary school-age children get in free.
