A Highlands East man has been charged with three impaired driving offenses following a single-vehicle accident on Monck Road Saturday (Aug. 31).
According to the Kawartha Lakes OPP, officers were dispatched shortly before 7 p.m.
“On arrival on scene it was determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol,” reads a media release from police.
Cameron Thompson, 20, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and novice driver – BAC above zero.
He is slated to appear in Lindsay court on Sept. 26.
