
Police in Kawartha Lakes are investigating after a business in the Lindsay area was targeted twice in the span of a week, with thieves stealing two Kubota loaders.
According to a media release, police believe a compact track loader was stolen between 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and the morning of Monday, Aug. 12.
The machine is orange in colour and is model SVL65-2.
The second machine – an HP loader – was reportedly stolen on Friday (Aug. 16) evening.
The business shared a photo on social media Wednesday (Aug. 22) that appears to show two men hitching the machine onto a truck shortly before 6:30 p.m.
It is also orange in colour and is model SLV75-2HWC.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call police at 705-324-5252.
