Police are looking to track down a suspect following a stabbing in Ramara Township early Monday (July 29).
According to the OPP, officers responded to a call shortly before 2:30 a.m. from a Logan Lane residence where a 23-year-old Ramara man was located badly injured.
“The County of Simcoe Paramedic Services was on the scene tending to the male. The victim was transported to a Toronto area hospital via Air ORNGE where he remains in critical condition,” reads a media release from police.
“A preliminary investigation revealed the male was stabbed multiple times.”
Investigation into the incident continues, with police appealing for witnesses to come forward.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident and police not feel there is a threat to public safety,” reads a media release from police.
