Daily lane restrictions will be in effect as the Region repaves a portion of Mara Road in Beaverton.
The project stretches from 70 metres north of Main Street to 660 metres north of Franklin Street and also includes structure adjustments, concrete curb infills, granular shouldering and surface asphalt paving.
Work – to be completed by Brennan Paving & Construction Limited – is expected to get underway at some point next week and should wrap up by Aug. 16.
“Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the work schedule,” reads a notice from the Region.
“Daily lane restrictions are required for the duration of the project to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner.”
The Region is asking motorists to exercise additional caution for their safety and the safety of the construction workers.
“The Region realizes that the work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. The dates shown are tentative and may change based on the contractor’s schedule,” the notice reads.
