
The York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in locating an 87-year-old man and his vulnerable 40-year-old son from the City of Richmond Hill.
Police say Roberto Garcia and Oliver Garcia left their residence on Avenue Road in Richmond Hill to go to Collingwood on Sunday (July 7) at approximately 11 a.m.. Roberto was driving a silver Toyota Corrola with the license plate 762YFZ.
“They did not arrive in Collingwood and have not returned home. Family have been unable to get in contact with them,” reads a media release from police.
“Police and family are increasingly concerned for their well-being.”
Roberto Garcia is described 5’9”, 170 lbs, with short grey hair. He was wearing glasses, a grey hat, grey pants and a blue T-shirt.
Oliver Garcia is described as 5’6” and 125 lbs. He was wearing a red baseball hat, a blue T-shirt, brown shorts and grey running shoes and may be carrying a Nintendo DS.
