
A Mississauga man was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries after flipping his ATV in the Ganaraska Forest.
According to police, the accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday (June 15).
“A 53-year-old Mississauga male was operating his ATV with family members in the forest when he lost control and rolled the machine. The incident occurred about two kilometers north of Concession Road 8 and west of Carscadden Road. He suffered multiple, serious injuries when the ATV landed on him,” a media release from police reads.
“Emergency services located the male and took him to a nearby field, where an air ambulance arrived and transported him to a Toronto trauma centre. He has multiple serious injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening.”
