A Ramara Township man has been charged in relation to an accident that claimed the life of a 19-year-old Sebright man last year.

According to police, Lucas Dunlop died after being hit by a vehicle at a Joyland Beach location on June 17, 2018.

“He was initially transported to a residence where his condition deteriorated and emergency services were called. The victim was pronounced deceased at the residence,” a media release reads.

Following an investigation, 25-year-old Glenn White of Ramara Township has been charged with attempt obstruct justice and public mischief.

He is scheduled to appear in an Orillia court on July 9.
