Dozens of youngsters stopped by the Cannington on library branch on Saturday (May 25) for Drag Queen Storytime.
Organized by the Youth Pride Durham, the family-friendly event showcased stories and songs that explored and celebrated diversity and inclusion and featured a pair of performers from Toronto — Lucy Flawless and Tash Riot.
Sessions have been booked at libraries across Durham Region, with upwards of 60 people attending the local stop.
Youth Pride Durham will host its annual festival on Saturday, June 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sinclair Secondary School in Oshawa. For more information, click HERE.
