Police are hoping to hear from the mother of a newborn baby that was left outside a Georgina firehall early Tuesday morning.

According to reports, officers were called to the firehall around 3:30 a.m.

“Baby is in good health and Children’s Aid Society is engaged. We’re asking the mother to seek any medical attention she may need and to contact us so we can be sure she is OK,” reads a social media post from the York Regional Police.
